Neil is an entrepreneur and seasoned operating executive. He has worked as a senior executive in a Fortune 50 Corporation and has founded Media Companies, Consulting Firms and a Venture Capital Firm. He has successfully exited several of the companies he has founded.In October of 2018, Neil co-founded Vetust Advisors. Vetust means experienced. Neil and his partner want to use their experience at both large and small companies to help businesses that are “stuck,” address their challenges and get to the next level of success. Prior to founding Vetust, Neil founded The Heller Group (THG). THG focused on providing strategic guidance and business advisory services to early stage and middle market companies. Neil has worked with technology companies and traditional brick and mortar businesses, focusing on strategy, operational improvement and business development. Neil was an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at TL Ventures. TL is a venture capital firm with over 1.5 billion under management. As EIR, Neil participates in investment reviews, assists portfolio companies, sources deals and performs due diligence. Prior to The Heller Group, Neil served as Senior Vice President of Joint Venture Ops for Comcast. He was responsible for managing enterprises acquired/and or formed by Comcast. Before Comcast, Neil was a founder and Chairman of Katalyst, LLC and was Managing Partner of Katalyst Venture Partners (KVP). At Katalyst, Neil worked with dozens of companies in multiple industries. KVP invested in companies for which Katalyst provided services. Among others, Limited Partners included: Comcast Interactive Media, Liberty Media, Cox Cable, GE Capital, and Lenfest Communications. Before forming Katalyst and KVP, Neil was a founder and Chief Executive Officer of TVSM, Inc. TVSM was the largest publisher of cable television programming magazines in the United States. TVSM was sold to Newscorp, publisher of TV Guide. Neil began his career as an attorney.
