    I started work in 1981 for Shepherd & Co (later Heywood Shepherd) as an accountant doing some insolvency work. In 1988 this firm merged with Kidsons Impey and I worked predominantly in the Insolvency Department but also doing some accountancy work for old Heywood Shepherd clients. In 1990 I moved to Baker Tilly in Manchester were I worked solely in insolvency. In 1994 I qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner and I left Baker Tilly to become self employed. In 1996 my firm merged with Brian Lines Associates, who were also in Altrincham, to form Lines Henry which has continued to be an indepedent firm of licensed insolvency practitioners.
