I serve as the Senior Rabbi Successor at Isaac M. Wise Temple in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior, I was the Senior Rabbi at Hevreh of Southern Berkshire in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and Associate Rabbi at Temple Shalom in Newton, Massachusetts.Beyond my responsibilities within the congregation, I have held leadership positions within the community–both locally and in the Reform Movement. I served on the Board of Trustees for Construct, Inc, a local organization that creates and maintains transitional and affordable housing. I founded BASIC, a network of faith-based and human services organization that ensures access to resources for the local immigrant community. I have been a member of the Reform Movement’s Commission on Social Action and has chaired a national campaign to organize the Jewish community for criminal justice reform. In 2018, at a commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s “From the Mountaintop” sermon, I spoke from the same pulpit at the Mason Temple in Memphis, representing the Jewish voice.
