As a Sr. Cloud Solution Architect in Security, I work with financial services customers across banking, insurance, and capital market verticals. The goal across my team is to empower customers to improve their security posture by fully leveraging their Microsoft licensing entitlements and moving towards a Zero Trust framework. Microsoft layers intelligent security controls powered by ML & AI into our cloud offerings across Microsoft 365 and Azure to allow securing identities, endpoints, applications, data, infrastructure, and network. These holistic solutions work together to provide end-end comprehensive coverage for organizations to protect against modern threats and reduce the risk of cyber-attack and breaches.

As a Cloud Solution Architect on the Modern Workplace Team, I was responsible for working with customers in delivering solutions aligned to the Microsoft Cloud including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra, Security and Compliance, Identity and Threat Protection as well as a myriad of third-party integrations. Projects often involved several aspects of these solutions since most transformational cloud initiatives are complex engagements encompassing many touch points that must be considered. Delivering highly customized outcomes requires that each engagement is approached as a new and unique solution strategy. This is often achieved by a blend of listening to and understanding the customer’s drivers and concerns, while bringing many years of cumulative knowledge and experience to help educate and provide valuable consulting input.

My role, as a Senior Cloud Architect, was focused on delivering Microsoft cloud technologies both on-premises as well as in private/public/hybrid cloud deployments. Extensive work with Azure, Office 365, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, as well as integration with security, identity and other solution providers in hybrid scenarios. Working directly with customers on behalf of Microsoft as a Partner Seller (P-Seller) and Partner Cloud Solutions Architect (P-CSA) delivering envisioning and whiteboarding sessions as well as conducting technical webinars.

Oversaw all aspects of IT for the entire organization. Hands-on role implementing and supporting all information systems functions for the company’s headquarters in Manhattan, NY as well as factories in Missouri and [formerly] Bronx, NY. Duties included but were not limited to: Designing, building and managing all servers, storage, networking, security, workstations, peripherals, and telecom solutions. Liaised with outsourced software developers to support LOB applications.Made or influenced all IT & telecom decisions regarding vendors, services and contracts. Forecasted yearly IT budget and capital expenditure planning. Maintained 24x7 monitoring of applications, servers and infrastructure.

Supported a medical software and billing platform by managing a customer base spanning the entire NY/NJ/PA tri-state area. Duties included designing, deploying and maintaining customer LAN/WAN with NT/2K, Novell Netware and mixed environments to support the application suite.Extensive on site work included: software and hardware installation, data migration, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, data recovery and providing phone support to customers. Leadership role in creating company standards for implementation.Performed new client office surveys by analyzing end-user needs and requirements as well as best practice techniques on a per client basis.
