As Training Manager at Orbit, I was accountable for training over 330 staff in a growing Debt Collection and Training business. Orbit have been training teams since 1999 across all industries. As Training Manager, I was accountable for the design, delivery and embedding of bespoke training packages. We didn’t believe in off the shelf programmes, instead we tailored every aspect of our courses to our clients and people. It was my job to get that right.

I spent ten years at South West Water in a number of Training and Quality Assurance roles. The final two years was spent as the Training and Quality Manager, where I was accountable for Recruitment, Training, Quality and Communications.

I spent ten years at South West Water. During this period I played a prominent role in Recruitment, Training and Communications activities across a 250 person Contact Centre.• Developing and maintaining training material • Scheduling, conducting and evaluating training programmes • Acting as a central point for communications • Developing, coaching and mentoring new trainers• Helping to coordinate and participate in customer satisfaction survey work• Being the ambassador for Source on the South West Water Company Awareness Programme• Leading training and communications work for business changes.
