I am an IT consultant with 30 years of software implementation experience in the key areas of Testing, Business analysis and Training. I have proven high levels of written and verbal communication and am a reliable, motivated team player with a keen sense of humour.After a successful teaching career, my first exposure to the IT industry began in training. I was part of a team at Ontrack NZ Rail responsible for the rollout of the Amicus freight tracking and automated waybilling system. As the project continued, my involvement extended into other areas of the SDLC, specifically Business analysis and Testing.After leaving Ontrack NZ Rail, I then commenced a 13 year period of contracting as a Test analyst. This included engagements for both IT vendors and government/private sector clients, so I have an appreciation for the business demands from both sides of the fence. During each of these engagements, I proved capable of picking up new technologies and adjusting to the various team dynamics.In January 2008 I joined Fronde as a permanent staff member and worked on major projects delivered using the agile project methodology. These projects were in the Education and Agriculture sectors.I am now an experienced agile practitioner and have ventured back into independent test consulting. I am currently at Fujitsu New Zealand and working on applications used by the Ministry for Primary Industries. I am hard working, collaborative, understand the importance of good communication between team members, am respected by clients and staff alike and can be trusted to deliver.
