I am currently the team Lead for the external Client Engineers (CE), my team provides TEMs (Transmission Engineering and Maintenance) remit for technical analysis and quality assurance of design for a suite of 108 projects. This successful outsourcing model has enabled TEM to maintain its high standard of technical input in an environment of constraint resources, resulted in cost savings to EirGrid and relieved pressure on the wider team.Brought new processes forward and used my management skills to develop the external CE team model. Developed management reporting tool which monitored key deliverable, targets, issues and risks.As Client Engineer i am also the technical interface between EirGrid with ESB Networks, Generators and Demand Customers for a range of transmission projects including connections, transmission line works and substation projects. I provide technical support to Project Managers this comprises review, comment and approval of technical drawings and design documentation on compliance with EirGrid standards on planning applications, electrical and civil designs. Developed and issued functional specifications for new generation customer projects. Develop energisation requirements provide guidance to OPI and project managers relating to outage sequence. Problem solve technical issues for key projects including development of feasibility reports for key infrastructure projects.Delivered as Project Manager key infrastructure projects including technical analysis, developed and submitted planning application for new structures, managed landowner and stakeholder engagement including coordination of civil construction with wayleaving process and coordinated civil construction with electrical outage. Managed the following;• Vendor management including tender, appointment and approving work and invoices;• Project Manage key technical transmission projects; and• Attend site meetings with stakeholders to review progress and problem solve issues.

I am responsible for project managing the development of a number strategic electrical infrastructure projects at 110 kV and 220 kV throughout the country. I am also responsible for the Project Management, Public Consultation, Wayleave Management and Stakeholder Management. I was responsible for project managing the development of a number strategic electrical infrastructure projects throughout the country. I was responsible for achieving capital approval for a number of 110 kV and 220 kV strategic projects. I was responsible for the delivery of a swathe of overhead line uprate and refurbishment projects for EirGrid.
