My career in the spirits industry has helped me learn to wear many hats as I've explored an array of opportunities. I've worked my way up several ladders in both retail and service industries beginning as a stockist/cashier and working my way to assistant manager and now beer & spirit buyer, and also starting as a barback and working up to server then lead bartender in another establishment. I am focused on forward momentum and am eager to learn more about this industry.My background is also well-rounded in customer service and experience with public speaking. I was the head of customer service for an online store in which we averaged 1000 shipped parcels per week, which I also oversaw the shipping and receiving for. Learning protocols of USPS and UPS regulations helped hone my skills in attention to detail, as well as communicating these regulations to customers when problems arose. Communication with others has always been comfortable, as my earliest jobs involved working as a camp counselor for children from seven to seventeen. I am looking to hone these skills in even more settings and scenarios, as I am always learning not only more about the ins and outs of this awesomely complex world, but also to better understand myself, my skills, and how my gifts can continue to benefit the people and places around me.
