I have extensive experience in senior executive positions across both the private and public sectors of the health and fitness industry, both in the UK and mainland Europe. Currently leading a start-up in the field of longevity which is something I am passionate about and is an area that the health & fitness sector should be more involved in. In this business we are commercialising longevity science & tech to deliver a range of physical activity solutions aimed at slowing down and reversing ageing - its HUGE.Previously MD & CEO of énergie Fitness, Integral in the sale of the business to Private Equity partner and the subsequent MBO. At énergie I re-defined the énergie fitness product and rebranded the énergie Fit4less network with a linked, award-winning, campaign to position the business as a pioneering ‘low cost, high service’ operator. Most recently, I created the ‘énergie online’ platform and lead the development of the omni-channel fitness experience: ‘indoor, outdoor and online’. I have exceptional expertise in the marketing and branding field, having led the rebrand of the US private equity backed, 1Life Management Solutions for 4 years. Prior to this, I was Commercial Director at Everyone Active where I grew the business from 20 outlets to over 100, winning the ukactive ‘Operator of the Year’ award for 3 consecutive years. Once again, I have been responsible for the creation and development of the Everyone Active Brand and culture of the organisation. In addition to this, I've worked internationally to build Balance Fitness (which subsequently became Elixia Health Clubs) rolling out 50 clubs in 2 years across 6 European countries.
