I am passionate about technology, and software systems in particular. Since the time I assembled my first PC from components bought with saved-up pocket money, I was hooked. Using software to enhance productivity, gain insight and extend reach is incredibly exciting.Since finishing my engineering degree, I have been fortunate to contribute in excellent teams as part of a software consultancy. My responsibilities have evolved over the 12+ years of working in this dynamic environment; from developing software systems, to leading development teams, to engaging with clients' product and technology strategies. Currently, my main focus is helping talented software engineers use technology to realise business value through a strong engineering foundation and industry best-practices. Being able to adapt, learn and apply my knowledge has allowed me to navigate the changing environment, responsibilities and technology landscape.
