In or about 2001 I left school and started working as an Apprentice Engineer for Ashbury Golf Course. In or about 2004 after completing my NVQ level 2 in Ground Care Machinery Engineering and NVQ level 3 in Agricultural Engineering , I started working for Eagle Plant as a Mechanical Engineer. During this role I gained experience in machinery sales and hire. In or about 2007 I was invited back to work for Ashbury Golf Course. Initially, I was employed as Mechanical Engineer. In or about 2009, in addition to my normal role, I took over the running of the Workshop. To make a bit of extra money I starting buying and selling second hand machinery, which was a challenge to fit in when working 60 + hours a week! It was through this that I came across Lumag GmbH. The company, which is based in Germany, manufacture a vast range of high quality construction machines for worldwide distribution. In 2012 I secured the contract for the sole importation and distribution rights, throughout the UK and Ireland, for Lumag products. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength. In 2014 the company become limited and in 2016 I welcomed on board my first employee.Since 2012 I have established a network of approximately 50 professional Lumag Dealers across the UK and Ireland, made up of professional garden, construction, groundcare and agricultural machinery shops and professional machinery sales specialists.
