Project Manager - Southdown Iron Ore ProjectGrange Resources Mar 2004 - Jul 2006Burnie, Tas, AuIn this role I managed Grange Resources' major development project, the Southdown (Albany) Iron Ore Project and Malaysian Iron Ore Pellet Plant Project. During this period a Preliminary Feasibility Study and environmental approvals process was completed. Key achievements included identifying and securing an option over port infrastructure and adjoining land to build a pellet plant at Kemaman in Malaysia as well as identifying and negotiating a 100km underground pipeline easement for the transport of iron ore and return water over mainly freehold land between the Southdown minesite and Albany Port in Western Australia.
