Recruited to one of Team GB’s most successful summer sports Pentathlon GB. Working throughout the NGB and within the senior leadership team to develop and implement talent and coaching strategies leading into Tokyo and forward to Paris. Dovetailing both UK Sport and Home Nation funding objectives into an integrated proposition ensuring a whole performance and pathway philosophy.

Transitioned to GB’s most successful winter sport British Skeleton from professional sport to be a part of the senior leadership team in the run up to the 2018 Winter Olympic games in PyeongChang. Culminating in an Olympic performance that delivered 3 medals for Team GB. Led and developed the recruitment and talent strategy on a built to last framework for future Olympic performance success.

Strategically and operationally led the turn around of an underachieving Academy programme. Reviewed, re-designed, developed and implemented an evidence-based, logic led pathway model; the outcome was a strategically integrated and coherent system (community through to first team) which yielded an over supply of players at performance level.

Key leadership role within Britain’s biggest and most successful professional club to ensure Leicester Tigers were at the forefront of player development. Culminating in the inclusion of six players for the successful 2013 British & Irish Lions tour, an achievement unparalleled in the Academy system in the UK.
