Improved debt collection. • Improved the working relationship between the financial accounting teams and accounts receivable teams to ensure that receipts were fully accounted for.

Worked closely with General Managers of 3 subsidiary airlines, carrying out analysis of financial performance and providing support for the development of business cases for the regional airlines. Seconded to the project team developing from scratch a new Airline Profitability model in PeopleSoft to reliably identify the profitability of Airline routes. This required an extensive knowledge of the revenues and costs of the airline as well as understanding the cost and revenue drivers. The Airline Profitability model allocates revenue and costs based on appropriate operational drivers to identify the profitability of different aspects of the business, for example sector performance, service class performance and passenger and freight revenue performance

Supported Engine Overhaul management team as they established and developed 3rd party work opportunities from a low base of operation. Provided monthly management reporting including the development of financial data sources and extraction of data from those sources to enable the growth of external 3rd party business.
