o Accountable for a Global IT delivery portfolio of £14m for FY23/24.o Built new Supply Chain delivery team (7 FTE), including Project, Test and Cutover Managers.o Working cross functionally created a new IT induction pack for new starters which was adopted by all.o Mobilised SAP EWM project for Hong Kong as part of a legacy system replacement programme(Hong Kong - £1.3m Budget).o Mobilised an EU Digital warehouse project for Italy (SAP S/4 to 3PL WMS Integration) with a budget of £2.1m and an expected return of £4.4m per annum based on duty savings / increased availability.o Successful IT separation post an M&A of an outerwear supplier in Italy. Activities included setting up a new network (including infrastructure), duplicating existing system landscape and transferring 70 FTE.o Implementation of new Allocation and Replenishment system (BOARD), replacing legacy system (TXT), and aimed at generating revenue of £5.3m pa from improved visibility. o Redesigned Continuous Improvement process across Supply Chain; utilising JIRA / Confluence to manage the change through a 3rd party vendor.

Successfully managed programmes covering:• Programme Lead for logistics enabling 3rd Party Fashion Brands into the M&S network, both online and in store. This is a 3-year programme with the aim of driving incremental sales of £348m pa. To date we have landed 46 Brands on M&S.com and 10 Brands in store. In this role I am accountable for 5 workstreams, ranging from tactical delivery to strategic direction. A key achievement during this time has been implementing a WMS to support Brands; this went live in July ’21 and has successfully despatched 1.9m parcels to date, driving Gross Sales of £132m. In order to drive future sales, I am the lead on implementing a WMS upgrade which will be live in Sept ’22 and seeking investment of £5.5m to expand onsite storage in order to provide a solid foundation for growth.• Coordination of Home and Lifestyle logistics deliverables as part of the successful Joint Venture launch between M&S and Ocado in September ’20 and managed overall programme governance for Supply Chain and Logistics• Creation of business cases and gained executive approval for 2 robotics initiatives whilst leading the Innovation and Technology Programme (aimed at reducing variable labour costs and introducing new technologies). Total capital investment was £0.6m driving payback within 1.4 years. During this time also created the 3 Year Innovation and Technology strategy for Clothing & Home Logistics• Roll out of JDA Dispatcher Warehouse Management System (WMS) into 6 manual warehouses over 2.5 years at a cost of £19m and leveraging a £12m benefit pa, enabling the decommissioning of the mainframe • A ‘Step Change’ programme generating savings of £18m pa across 22 initiatives• E2E mapping of Clothing and Home supply chain; indicating costs at each node• Creation of first Ecom disaster recovery process• Reduction in Ecom Customer Failure Rate• Expansion of Ecom capacities

Recruited and led a team of 16 technicians controlling the automated flow of product, 24/7, in a 1 million Sq. Ft automated Ecom Distribution Centre (EDC). Within the first year of operation the warehouse successfully despatched 9 million singles (a combination of Ecom and Retail Store demand).

Key achievements:• A key member of the implementation team I was actively involved in the evolution of the site from System Integration / User Acceptance Testing through to Go Live and transitioning into business as usual.• Recruited and led a team of 14 technicians to control the automated flow of product, 24/7, in a 750k Sq. Ft automated Distribution Centre (DC) servicing all John Lewis Department Stores and the online business with average weekly outbound volumes of 3 million singles.• Coordinated the conversion of technical documentation into standard operating processes.• My team were first line technical support for an onsite user base of 300+ people and managed all installation of hardware (both planned and ad hoc).

Key achievements:• A network review for a major dairy product manufacturer highlighting potential savings of £1m pa.• A strategic review for one of the World’s largest non-alcoholic beverage companies demonstrating a saving of £2m pa as a result of changing the storage media.• A site development project for a large brewer in Russia, providing a multi functional dashboard allowing changes in the product mix and growth projections to be tested.• A labour planning and warehouse layout project for a major food and consumer goods importer in Iceland, demonstrating the effects of growth and profile changes on capacity.

Supported existing contracts with data analysis and completed tender responses for new business, winning a warehouse and transport contract worth over £1m pa in revenue with a national fast-fit specialist in the UK.

Completed transport and warehouse reviews demonstrating savings ranging from £50k to £2m pa.

Managed a team of 4 technicians at the heart of a 750k Sq. Ft automated warehouse delivering 2 million cases per week to 70 stores in the West Midlands.
