5 Months Temporary ContractFollowing SGP being awarded a nationwide contract to maintain all Pizza Hut and KCF restaurants throughout the UK, I was employed in a duel role to train the SGP site maintenance team, call centre staff and contractors on the latest fit out design, equipment and cost for Pizza Hut restaurants and to manage the maintenance of 200 branches across Southern England

Main Achievements:• Played a senior role on the international design team to redesign the global corporate image of Pizza Hut (UK) Ltd. Received Outstanding Achievement awards from the UK Board and the MD of YUM Restaurants International (Pizza Hut (UK) Ltd parent company).• Value engineered new design concept costs from £300k to roll out costs of below £200k. (120 refurbishments)• Project managed 14 brand new store openings.Responsibilities:• Working with Acquisitions, Architects and Consultants to control Landlord and self build shell development to legal completion.• Regularly review standard shell specifications for design changes, model costs and energy efficiency opportunities.• Appoint project management team, principal contractors, M&E Consultants and H&S supervisors for the fit out works, to budgets of £600K for shell construction and up to £850K fit out.• Custodian of all design standards including joinery, signage, M&E, furniture, finishes and equipment.• Manage annual tender process for principal contractors, M&E and signage.• Franchisee training on corporate design and support for refurbishment programme.

Main Achievements:• Appointed Project Leader for the design and construction of the STA Travel Call Centre, to accommodate 350 consultants.• Designed and project managed the fit out of the entire estate of 90 retail units throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. • Selected to work with a team of global Directors to document international guidelines for the new company logo on all external signage (600 retail units).Responsibilities:• Direct line management of Building Surveyor and Facilities Manager.• Management of annual budgets for rent, rates, service charge, insurance, H&S, security and maintenance contracts.• Forecast the annual capital budget for construction of new retails units, development opportunities and refurbishments.• Management of rent reviews and rates negotiations with external consultants.• To oversee the project team for the roll out of new acquisitions, relocations and disposals.• Management of Surveyors and Architects to prepare shop fitting tender documents, Planning Consents, Building Regulations approvals and Advertisement Consents.• Negotiation of Schedule of Dilapidations.

• Gained interior design skills and project management experience working with a diverse array of clients including high street retailers, restaurants, office refurbishments and construction of industrial units.• As Contracts Director was responsible for an annual turnover of £1.6M. Project managed shop fitting and office refurbishments projects up to £400k including all statutory consents.
