* facilitated whole school evaluation and change to Stage Based Integrated framework in 2001* demolition and rebuilding of the school 2004 through to present* move into double stream commencing with Prep* development of a 21st Century Library with a Learning Plaza under the BER* Improved focus on pedagogy and evidence based learning* research into building community in schools and staff role within that process* involvement in the establishment of the Lutheran Principals Australia group.

Foundation Principal - worked with the establishment committee to set up the school and plan for the future. A School Council and Parents and Friends Group was put in place early in 1986 and the school commenced with two teachers; a Junior Primary Teacher and the Principal taught Years 3-7. The school grew quickly.

The school began as a one teacher school with 17 students in one classroom Year 1 - 7. The class grew during the year to 26 students and included 3 special needs students (Downs Syndrome, a student with PKU and a student who used his foot with which to write) and 7 students from Year 1 - 3.At the end of my 4 years at Peace, the school was set to begin its 5th year with 5 teachers, including a half time Principal and 110 students. During the 4 years, resulting from a successful application to the Schools Commission, Stage One comprising of Administration, 3 GPLAs and a toilet block were built. Large pipes were installed in the creek bed and covered to provide a flat oval area and the North and East Street boundaries were fenced with chain mesh. Trees were planted around the above boundaries and a playground installed. A concrete tennis court was laid and the shed attached to the old church hall was relocated to become a sports shed by the tennis court.Additional land was purchased running up to behind the printers shed and first option was taken out with a number of residences bordering the school grounds.A School Council and an active and enthusiastic Parents and Friends Association was established in the first year.The small school took part in many competitions with great success and participated in many community events. Other highlights were the moving of the hall closer to the back of the church and raising it. This provided 3 classrooms upstairs and rooms below, which provided much needed space for the school to grow.

I went to St Pauls as a graduate teacher. In my first year I taught the last composite class of 33 Year 6 and 7 students upstairs in a long narrow room behind the choir loft. I then taught a straight Year 6 class for the next 3 years.Secretary of the the Northern Adelaide Junior Football Association. Umpired games on Saturday mornings.Took part in a Principals' Development Program at Lutheran Teachers College, North Adelaide.Member of the Prism committee ( a magazine for Sunday School Teachers) and sat on the South Australian Lutheran Sunday Schools Committee.In 1991 was called simultaneously to become Principal at Dimboola Lutheran Primary School in Victoria, to commence as Foundation Principal the new Lutheran School in Hobart and to begin the school at Gatton in Queensland.
