Business Development Manager working in the enterprise section developing large scale infrastructure with local authorities across the UK. Lead responses to consultations and engaged with design teams both internally and externally.

Senior Engineer within the Heat Network Delivery Unit (HNDU) at BEIS guiding projects to deliver strategic outputs within Central and Local Government. Assisted local authorities across the UK looking at the development of energy infrastructure. Guided development of complex decentralised energy systems from masterplanning through feasibility on into detailed project delivery. Later stages looked at Governance structures, finance options and scope of specs for the adoption of third party systems. Sat on industry boards and fed into Codes of Practice for system design and component standards. Used to working to tight deadlines across multiple projects inside and outside immediate business unit.

South West Team Leader responsible for technical input at construction/commissioning stages, acceptance and operational management of what was the largest residential energy network in the UK generating and supplying thermal and electrical energy. Distribution was from process plant environments to domestic and commercial customers on Energy Service Company ('ESCOs') contracts. Developed BMS programs and worked on communication systems for energy metering. Managed onsite teams and multiple contractors and dealt with problems in a proactive and reactive manner. Worked alongside suppliers in the development of heat network components designed to deliver energy loss reductions.

Senior Engineer In charge of heat production supplying heat to the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park prior to and during the 2012 Olympic Games. Responsible for the gas systems and ensuring uninterrupted heating and cooling from the energy centre’s and satellite plants. Provided a technical lead at commissioning and optimised output from the CCHP and biomass systems. I project managed the completion of the biomass and worked with directors, manufacturers and distributors ensuring targets were reached.
