Manage the subject of lifting, working as part of the Northern management team. Providing solutions to drive service excellence across the depot network within lifting. Develop the lifting team including recruitment, coaching, mentoring and creating personnel development programs. Support the Northern senior management team from a technical perspective advising on compliance, legislation, best practices and attend the LEEA technical meetings on behalf of Speedy. Work closely with the Operational Directors, General Managers and sales team to constantly drive customer satisfaction, quality and financial performance.

Carlisle

-Responsible for the efficient running of the Carlisle depot and ensuring that targets are achieved.-Maximize branch profits though ensuring correct margins are achieved whilst controlling costs and stock levels to ensure the profitability of the branch and availability of equipment.-Confident in applying people skills to manage and recruit staff, providing in house support training.-Conduct staff appraisals and job chats to ensure staff training / learning requirements are highlighted and relevant training / guidance is implemented.-Responsible for preparing the branches annual budget, looking at potential new revenue streams and areas of growth.-Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety issues both in the branch and on site are implemented.-Able to work well under pressure and react to time critical situations liasing effectively with staff, other departments and suppliers to ensure that jobs are completed on time.-Manage a wide range of customers accounts in the Cumbria and south west Scotland including dealing with industrial, manufacturing, construction and civil engineering clients.-Responsible for undertaking on site visits / consultations to advise on best practice and safe use of lifting equipment.-Able to adopt to change with a positive attitude.
