I worked for 7 years as seasonal Ranger at Grand Teton National Park. I worked in the Interpretation division working with Park visitors.

I am part of a group called "Development Planning" within the Exploration & Production organization of Royal Dutch Shell. Our mission is to drive integration, project delivery, quality decision and value creation throughout the Hydrocarbon Development Planning Process. This process includes oil & gas opportunities starting in the Identify phase and going through the Assess, Select, and Define phases. More simply, I help teams frame their opportunity, identify key decisions which need to be made, create high level decision work plans, and eventually make quality decisions. This is accomplished via facilitating workshops (Opportunity Framing, Concept Identification, Concept Selection), and working one-on-one with teams. I am currently working with a team that is evaluating a recent oil discovery in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico.

Onshore Southeast Louisiana Tertiary, 1991-1993• Area Exploration Manager and seismic interpreter. Initiated 3-D surveys over existing Shell and competitor fields that added reserves at Turtle Bayou Field and Point Au Fur Field.Mid-Continent Area, 1988-1991• Team Leader and seismic interpreter for Arbuckle Play in Ardmore and Arkoma Basins and Spiro Play in Arkoma Basin. Two wells were eventually drilled.Rocky Mountain Area, 1982-1988• Conducted in-depth regional reviews of all Rock Mountain Foreland Basins for sub-thrust potential. The study resulted in acquisition of land and seismic data over several of the identified prospective areas.• Geophysical Team Leader and seismic interpreter for Mogollon Plateau exploration play. Mapped the deep Permian structure and played an integral part in coordinating the acquisition of gravity, magnetic, and seismic data. This play resulted in a large lease acquisition and the drilling of 3 wells.Seismic Processing and Acquisition, 1979-1981• Coordinated and supervised field and office staff as the Party Chief for both Shell and contractor seismic crews throughout the Onshore U.S. Major areas of acquisition included Michigan Reef Trend, Anadarko Basin, Arkoma Basin, and Williston Basin.Seismic Processing and Acquisition, 1977-1979• Processing Geophysicist for seismic acquisition in Michigan Reef Trend, Anadarko Basin, Arkoma Basin, and Williston Basin.
