My excellent organisational and communication skills have been paramount in my success in the role of Logistics/Warehouse Manager based in the fast-paced environment of Canning Vale’s Market City. My day-to-day responsibilities pertaining to leadership and personnel management of operations supplying fresh produce to Woolworths, Coles and Aldi.

During my role offshore I have experienced all aspects of inventory management as a material controller (Materialsman) on a semi-submersible oil rig. Daily responsibilities including stock issues and receiving, creating / submitting purchase requisitions, cost analysis and reporting, freight handling and stock control. I am required to be competent in Dangerous Goods by Sea, Air and Road. Ensuring packaging as per IMDG standards, manifesting and completion of Multimodal Dangerous Goods Form is a regular and ongoing responsibility. My exceptional ability to learn and master software packages has been very beneficial within this role. I have been solely responsible for the creation or functional improvement of excel spreadsheets currently utilised in daily operations. I have been an integral part of a successful warehouse upgrade project. This entailed the redesign of the store layout and reviewing / modifying operational procedures to ensure maximum efficient in stock control. In 2012, the Atwood Falcon was docked in Jurong Shipyard, Singapore for underwater inspections (UWILD) and MODU upgrades. My organisational and networking skills were put to test during theses 3 months. Responsibilities involved the co-ordination of truck deliveries, inventory management (on rig & on dock) and overseeing work performed by shipyard personnel. My professionalism, customer service experience and excellent organisational skills has assisted in adopting the role of the Atwood Falcon supply chain representative with numerous visits to onshore storage facilities in Karratha and Geraldton to monitor operations, perform stock control duties, develop a tracking system for long-term storage items and build essential working relationships with externally contracted personnel..

My initial role with Atwood Oceanics was for a 4 week contract through Kelly Services to assist with the recruitment of personnel for the newly constructed Atwood Osprey MODU. My hard work, professionalism and ability to learn quickly resulted in being offered a full-time role as a Personal Officer, working alongside management of the Atwood Osprey. This human resource role involved the selection & recruitment of all rig personnel, sign-on procedures, personal leave management, workers compensation / income protection claims, cyclone evacuation procedures and working closely with rig management to ensure all personnel requirements were fulfilled. During this role I took the initiative to set up an online questionnaire linked to the company’s recruitment software, allowing screening of candidates to be more automated, less time consuming and much more efficient.
