Health and Safety management is about Safety today, tomorrow and twenty years from now. Sounds easy but true Practitioners have to embrace building knowledge and staying on top of their role. Goal post will always be fluid and fluidity must be part of your own DNA. As a senior manager in the RNLI taught me that Safety and performance are very much a difficult ballance to achieve. Balancing Safety and performance can be a tough challenge but one that I feel I excel at but without compromise for the welfare of everyone.
