Key Attributes• Have been responsible for completing many Power Electronic Projects from the tender stage to customer sign off and acceptance of the finished product. The areas of industry where these products have been supplied to include Aerospace “Boeing 787 Dreamliner”, variable frequency drives for commercial buildings to power A/C systems and many different Power Electronic products to the rail industry all over the world. • Have successfully run the whole Manufacturing Department including the Stores with an increased turn over £2m up to an annual turnover of £15m. This included management and operation of all manufacturing activities, assembly, material control, despatch packing and associated ancillary work. This was done for two different companies.• Was in charge of a site based workforce of 90 permanent and up to 50 agency people to meet a demanding schedule for Electrical Outage work. This work was in live switchyards for the National Grid and every person had to have specific authorisation to enable them to get onto the different sites.• Responsible for the implementation of all H&S procedures, both manufacturing and building infrastructure. Now IBOSH trained.• Have an extremely good knowledge of Electrical Manufacturing with over 35 years’ experience. This experience goes from PCB’s to Power Station control rooms and working in 400KV switchyards taking the permit from National Grid.• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing Techniques (Kaizen)
