About Neil Wrightson

I'm an embedded designer who loves getting down to the nuts and bolts of electronics.My primary choice of Micro's is the Atmel AVR.I have developed many specialized PCB's that interface to the real world, from Home Automation, Security, specialized signs to Industrial Control. I have used this hardware in places such as Shell, BHP, Coal Mines, including Hazardous Areas - Group II; Zone 1,2 areas such as "Terminals Pty Ltd" I have written firmware for the above controllers that goes from basic I/O to an Ethernet library with UDP & TCP support, even including an embedded webserver.
