Led the development and implementation of a new strategic plan to increase commercial income and deepen government relationships .During this time we supported a collaborative programme between utility companies in the North East of England, delivering a concept software platform to share underground asset data and facilitate work scheduling .The project was adopted by the Geospatial Commission and developed into their National Underground Asset Register programme . We announced our partnership with Intel Mobileye at CES 2019 for new low cost asset data capture using a vehicles onboard driver assist cameras supported by artificial intelligence through machine learning . We also introduced Astigan our High Altitude Pseudo Satellite programme in development since 2015 . OS deepened its presence internationally in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai and built stronger relationships with many countries also committed to geospatial excellence.Appointed as one of two Geospatial Commissioners for the U.K representing the Geo6 partner bodies - The British Geological Survey , The Coal Authority, The Land Registry , UKHydrographic Office & The Valuation Office Agency. -

Oct 1989 - Sep 2001Westminster, Co, UsResponsible for helping Trimble springboard out of the US setting up the technical team that introduced GPS into Europe, Middle East , Africa & India from a small office in Tonbridge, Kent.The role included both technical and new market development in the satnav, vehicle tracking , marine, survey, precision farming, GIS and construction application areas. This was during the companies fastest period of growth and included the successful selection of Trimble products by many industries and governments across the world.From 1995 onwards I took on the responsibility for new market development in construction , machine control & precision farming. This included working closely with Caterpillar in the mining and construction industry resulting in one of Trimble's most successful JV partnerships. I was integral to the creation of the earliest pioneering machine control systems, such as SiteVision ( earthworks ) and precision farming guidance and automation systems .Major projects supported by the team included HS1, the Oresund and Tagus Bridge projects and many large road and airport construction projects in the UK, France, Sweden, Norway, India, Spain & Ireland . This resulted in many of the worlds first uses of digital construction techniques and the first ever European precision farming projects.The European business areas I worked in grew organically from $0.5million USD to over $300 million with a growth of over $1 billion including acquisitions . A key responsibility of the role was starting- up and supporting the development of the international distribution channel. This concluded in the creation of one of of the industry's most successful direct and indirect channels across more than 50 countries.Trimble acqusitions in Europe during this period also included SpectraPrecision/Geotronics and Zeiss and a number of smaller channel acquisitions. -

Provided global Geodetic support and data analysis for both land and marine operations.
