Heading up sports and leisure insurance and risk management advice.

Grew team from 1 member of staff up to 13.Most proud of the fantastic team ethic that was built and focus on employee engagement and personal development.During the time at Independents we also built a fantastic bank of client involving over 800 gyms and 120 trampoline parks. The business was relationship driven and we focussed on giving an outstanding customer experience and creating long term sustainable relationships.

I was invited by BSI to join the steering group for PAS 5000. This involved the drafting and review of the safety standard for the construction and operation of trampoline parks.I attended all meetings and contributed to all elements of the standard with a particular focus on Section 5, Operations.

Leading the activities of the local institute responsible for approximately 2,500 individual members. This includes organising a range of social and educational events within the insurance industry.
