About Neil Arun

I work as an editor and trainer with reporters across eastern and south-eastern Europe, producing long-form and investigative journalism. Our stories have been widely published in the international press – including The Guardian, New Statesman, The Atlantic, and The Independent. Our work has twice been shortlisted for the European Press Prize, and has won the Reporting Europe prize.I have also worked as an editor and reporter in Iraq. I have had bylines with the Financial Times Weekend Magazine, Vanity Fair, Prospect and Monocle, among others. I began my career with the BBC News, producing international news across online, radio and TV outlets.
