Member of the World renowned Cory Band since 1995 and treasurer since 1999.As part of the small management team for this Registered Charity I have responsibilities for budgeting and accounting, raising finance from grants, sponsorship and donations, commercial and business development aspects as well as event and tour management,marketing and development of the brand in the UK and throughout the World.In 2013 I established and continue to drive the Cory Academy which is the youth outreach programme of the Cory Band. This works with over 100 young people on a weekly basis throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf providing brass tuition and supporting community youth bands. There is continued planned growth of this programme throughout 2014.
