FounderOrbis Consulting, Llc Feb 2019 - PresentRaleigh, Nc, UsOrbis Consulting builds elegantly simple and bankable financial models for a wide variety of clients in the energy and infrastructure spaces, including development companies, banks, and equity funds. Our clients usually need to streamline diligence processes to speed funding results. DirectorHoulihan Lokey Oct 2017 - Jan 2019Los Angeles, Ca, UsI joined the investment bank Houlihan Lokey to create a new financial modelling service line, Financial Modelling as a Service (FMS), within their valuation practice. FMS sought to put the power of high quality financial modelling into the hands of key decision makers in private equity and corporations. FMS espoused the principals of flexibility, transparency, and forthright presentation in all the models we built. Our group leveraged Houlihan's extensive relationships to help clients tell clearer stories to key financial stakeholders using the medium of Excel. We did so in three ways: 1.) financial model training; 2.) model validation; 3.) model build and consulting.I was primarily responsible for developing the product internally, establishing client relationships, training staff, and delivering the final product. We were engaged to build models for corporate funds (Generate Capital) and a variety of corporates in the health care, entertainment, and manufacturing spaces. We also conducted training classes for the Yale School of Management and Clean Capital. We provided model reviews for a wide variety of time sensitive deal models. -
