I led the Workforce and Talent Development workstream, responsible for overseeing projects and building eminence in the areas of learning and development, organizational transformation, and change management. As part of this, I managed the professional development of four team members. I also managed a six-person team of trainers responsible for the design, development, and facilitation of highly engaging and interactive webinars on leadership topics. In addition, I served as the project manager for a strategic planning and strategic communications project supporting a federal healthcare agency. I also managed a culture assessment where we identified a law enforcement client's cultural challenges and designed interventions to enhance the employee experience and operational effectiveness.

I led workforce planning for a scientific federal agency that included developing a competency model and assessing the proficiency of over 60 employees within a specific office. I also designed and facilitated in-person and virtual focus groups with employees and supervisors to validate the competency model. Outside of client work, I coordinated and served as a key writer on proposal responses that secured over $4.8M in funding. Additionally, I served on FMG's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee as the Events Lead responsible for delivering DEI programming.

I led change management activities for technology adoption and modernization efforts for a 4,000 person workforce at a federal agency. The activities included developed change management plans, training users on new software and developing learning curriculum prior to system releases. To achieve this, I collaborated with the project managers and developers to understand the business and technical requirements.

Managing a team of five developers and testers as the scrum master, I oversaw Agile development of a talent acquisition, employee and labor relations software. I facilitated weekly meetings with federal government executives to capture business requirements, draft software requirements/user stories for developers to implement client-requested features, and update weekly status reports and project plans to inform leadership of development progress. Additionally, I have created a training for the HR team to understand new software, including a user guide and classroom instruction.

I created presentations and executive briefing memos for a federal steering committee on employee engagement and morale. My work resulted in the agency seeing an increase in future survey scores. I also designed a research study of employee focus groups with Fortune 500 companies to understand key drivers of engagement and interventions to improve company morale. The study and findings were published in The Engagement Institute’s DNA of Engagement: Moments That Matter Throughout the Employee Life Cycle.Other highlights of my work include implementing numerous technical process improvements for testing a tax software, and developing a crisis communications strategy for an international finance organization’s human resources office in response to a policy change impacting employees. This created a smoother transition and improved employee communication regarding changes in benefits.

I supported 300 students living in Brown Residential College. I organized and hosted social and learning community events. I listened to residents' issues and directed them to the appropriate resources for their challenges, including mental health, substance abuse, and academic performance.

I allocated $620,000 annually to over 200 student organizations at the University of Virginia. In my role, I restructured and oversaw the 16 person Appropriations committee and 11 Club Consultants, and served on the Student Council Executive Board and the Vice Presidential Student Activities Committee. I also lobbied the Virginia General Assembly related to Board of Visitors Governance and immigration policy, and reorganized the funding process to address a $200,000 budget cut and create greater accountability.

I conducted telephone surveys about public policy research with households in the United States. In the role, I had to cold call respondents and then persuade them to participate. During the survey, I coded their responses into the computer for future research.

I analyzed and cleaned up the database of thousands of donors in SalesForce. To identify potential donors, I researched and determined the wealth and giving potential of supporters. I investigated and targeted grants for cancer research that could benefit the organization.

After researching the practices of sister counties, I advised the County Executive on how to improve risk management practices. I researched the fleet replacement policies of sister counties and proposed changes to the existing policies. I compiled and analyzed information on the over $500,000 in donations to public schools.
