Sight and Sound Technology are the UK's leading supplier of equipment to the blind and visually impaired. Working with Sight and Sound Technology my role is to visit customers to assess their computer systems for compatibility with our software packages and to script the software to ensure maximum accessibility. A business to business telesales role selling Talk Talk telephone packages to small and medium sized businesses.

Working with Skils Ltd I was responsible for overseeing the businesses through a transition involving all four of their companies. The expansion of SLS Training into larger premises with the provision of all communication links to the existing site. The closing down and stock clearance of Inflatamania, a bouncy castle hire company. The move from retail to internet based sales of Ken Sheather Wines and the reduction in stock holding of Small Talk Hire, a rental business for baby and toddler equipment. This was completed in time for the lease expiring on the premises occupied by Ken Sheather Wines. Throughout this time I was also called upon for updating of computer equipment, communications services and website maintenance and hosting.

Watford and then Milton Keynes With over two hundred stores throughout the UK, Allied Carpets is a trading division of the largest carpet retailer in Europe, providing all types of flooring for both the domestic and commercial market. Reporting to the Area Manager my responsibilities included:Daily running and control of one of their largest stores with an annual turnover of £2m.Ensuring the stores weekly, monthly and annual sales and ancillary targets were achieved.
