As a Registered Architect for Mason & Hanger, I have been able to stamp several projects across the country, which has been a great opportunity for me. Mason & Hanger specializes with Federal Government projects, particularly with the Department of Defense, who is our largest client having projects throughout the world. I partake in traveling to the project locations to meet with the clients or review the site on a regular basis. Communicating with clients regularly, managing projects successfully from start to finish, on time, and within budget is something I have been able to accomplish with several ACASS awards and SUCCESS awards being awarded for my performance.While with Mason & Hanger, I also became a Bayer Material Sciences Contractor to support specific projects with Bayer, a Fortune 500 company.I had the opportunity to also be involved with project management tasks, such as direct communication with the clients, scheduling project due dates, estimating budgeted project hours, and managing other employees on projects. I was the PM for an RFP package for several building modifications at Fort Hood, Texas with an overall budget of $1.8 million.Projects vary from Request for Proposals, to full service packages typically including Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation and Construction Services. At Mason & Hanger an Architect role can be expected to handle the coordination and creation of the drawings, specifications, cost estimating, Design Analysis (descriptive writing), and project submittals (submittals include combining all discipline drawings and files together for the project and shipping them to the client).At Mason & Hanger a Project Manager role can be expected to handle the coordination amongst multiple disciplines on a project, the project schedule, managing human resources on a project, client relations and communications, contracts and negotiations for projects and various related tasks.

I volunteered to travel and help our sister company within the Day & Zimmermann, Inc family, ECM, while still working for Mason & Hanger. The work involved being relocated to the Eastman Chemical Company, in Kingsport, TN. While commuting there weekly, I helped the Mechanical Department with field investigations throughout the chemical plant and designing for new and replacement mechanical systems in hazardous locations. To be allowed to work at Eastman Chemical Company, I had to undergo Hazmat Certification training, Coal Gasification Training, and Wasterwater Treatment training for all the various hazards on site.

Started part time while at the University of Kentucky and eventually being hired full time upon graduation. As a production designer, I have the opportunity to work on a multitude of various tasks ranging from setting up lighting and staging, also known as a Grip, during photo shoots filming real models on a regular basis, to creating the Rich PhotoRealistic Content (RPC) products that ArchVision is famous for, which are the three dimensional people and trees you may have used in your rendering or animation. I acquired the skills of computer graphics, several software programs, and the ability of creating graphic works in a repetitive, unique, and high quality fashion using several software programs, such as Photoshop, 3DS Max, and After Effects.
