As the G4S O2C process expert, I was responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining standardised O2C processes across the UK&I region. Working closely with the G4S Head of Shared Services, I implemented procedural and system changes which delivered significant benefits in both improved cashflow and reduced cost to serve through automation of transactional processes (including customer payment allocations). Working with senior stakeholders across the business, I led and executed strategic improvements across the complete O2C cycle. Highlights include:-ERP Implementation - senior role in the migration of legacy ERPs (SAP and Navision) to Oracle Fusion and S/4HANABI & Reporting - designed, built and launched a suite of Power BI dashboards that cover the full O2C cycle. Reducing reliance on non standard Excel reports, the Shared Service Centre management and team members, as well as external Operations and Commercial Management, now have a real time, one version of truth view across all O2C metricsO2C System Implementations - continually assessed and contrasted ERP O2C functionality with specialist solutions in the marketplace. Led the implementation of best in class collections and dispute management and cash application solutions leading to improved efficiencies and team member satisfactionAcquisition Integration - played a key role in several integrations of O2C customers and processes into the Shared Services Centre

Regional leader for Working Capital Management in the NorthPrimary focus on optimising O2C and P2P processes/structures/systems for clients in the North of the UK as well as internationally. Global assignments included projects in the US, Central Europe, Scandinavia and the Ukraine. Worked across a diverse range of industries with a particular focus across the utilities, telecoms, oil and gas, engineering and health sectors.

Reporting to the CFO, led a 12 month shared service centralisation programme across Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P). Completed the initial transition of activities within an aggressive 3 month target schedule and then oversaw the post implementation process and system improvement programme.

As the Head of Payment Processing & Legal Services, I was responsible for the functions that span the processes of receiving, validating and processing repair purchase invoices through to the sales invoicing and effective cash collection from our clients of these invoices. Through the Legal Services functions, FMG recover uninsured losses for their clients and will also manage third party repairs when their client is at fault, thereby minimising the eventual cost to the client. They also provide guidance and assistance to their client’s drivers when they incur injuries in incidents where a third party is at fault.

As a Working Capital Consultant, I provided clients with opportunities to release cash tied up in their working capital. To combat the high cost and restrictive availability of credit, clients can release cash from closer attention to their payables and receivables processes, systems and people.
