Metabolic Disease drug discovery. -Managed the design and roll out of a SharePoint based business intelligence management system. This system served to capture the business case for all metabolic targets & go/no go rational for initiation of discovery programs.- Developed requirements for, championed, and helped to successfully implement many research wide informatics tools. These included assay data reporting tools for discovery, compound data browser and query, research compound distribution, and biology E-notebook.- Automation of compound preparation, SAR assay, and data analysis. Programmed Tecan and Perkin Elmer workstations for liquid and plate handling. Wrote routines to process raw instrument data into reportable SAR data (Ki, IC50, EC50, etc.), perform data quality checks along the way, and upload into central database for reporting.- Developed and validated novel fluorescence based method for rapid triage of compounds for receptor residence time in a functional assay.- Developed and optimized a large range of ligand binding, enzyme, immunoassay, and cell based functional assays across a number of immunology, diabetes, obesity, and metabolic disease targets.- Collaborated with HTS and other groups both within the discovery organization and external to ensure quality and consistency of assay results across labs.

Immunodiagnostic (Flow Cytometry) assay and platform development- Testing of software for automated analysis of clinical flow cytometric data. Software validation of the tools used in this process.- Method development & optimization of antibody reagents used for clinical flow cytometry.- Wrote and reviewed reagent Quality Control and manufacture SOP’s used in GMP environment.
