Brands should contribute to culture, not sponsor it! We were an innovative business operating between brands and film/documentary producers to deliver partnerships that benefit both. We managed the negotiations that saw the brands get involved with the right project gain exclusive content, access to talent and of course marketing opportunities while also getting their investment back through distribution. We provided the marketing muscle that ensures brands get so much more from the partnership opportunity. Some times you need to know when to pull out and that's what we've done. Learnt so much about content development and marketing exploitation of same. Great experience that has made me a better marketer and business person.
