I setup and maintained an air defense command and control demonstrator at airshows, exhibitions and customer sites in the middle east and far east. The demonstrator was a three-screen UNIX system comprising mapping, radar simulators and communications.My role included demonstrating the system during sales presentations and fielding technical questions. In between exhibitions I was involved in developing enhancements to the demonstrator based on feedback from demonstrations.

Software developer/systems integrator working on the TR-1 ASARS data manipulation system (TADMS). A joint US-UK groundstation technology demonstrator that we ended up supporting as it entered service in the first gulf war. My role was to liase with my software counterparts in the US and assist in integration of commercial equipment into military systems.Also worked on specfication of airfield defence system and on bid responses.

Part time work developing bespoke and product applications for the Apple II and Tatung Einstien. Applications included stock control and accounting systems, graphics drawing/presentation and system utilities.
