The product comprises of a number of technolgies operating together to make up a distributed resilient cloud and on-prem system.As well as evolving the architecture to meet new requirements I am involved in supporting the sales team with technical consultancy and requirements. I also directly support, maintain and develop many of the core parts of the rostrvm system.I have extensive knowledge of databases and networking protocols (including SIP, RTP and HTTP) which are essential in the development of the product. I setup and maintained an air defense command and control demonstrator at airshows, exhibitions and customer sites in the middle east and far east. The demonstrator was a three-screen UNIX system comprising mapping, radar simulators and communications.My role included demonstrating the system during sales presentations and fielding technical questions. In between exhibitions I was involved in developing enhancements to the demonstrator based on feedback from demonstrations.
