As a Barclays Client Lead I assist in driving Procurement services across the US Consumer Bank. I ensure the relationship between Procurement and Barclays Consumer Banking & Payments stakeholder community is effectively managed and fully optimized. As a Barclays Third Party Regulatory Risk Manager, I was responsible for supporting the US Outsourcing and Third Party Service Provider (TPSP) regulatory agenda. Lead the production of STP & MTP for B2B Issuing and Acquiring portfolios, engaging with the Credit Risk ExCom. Have built and continue to develop financial tracking models for the monitoring of strategy changes and project implementation. Lead the business area through ad-hoc internal audits ensuring full support and satisfactory results. Main Accountabilities: -• Creation of STP & MTP submissions, achieving key stakeholder sign-off. Liaising with Finance Business Partners and ExCom across portfolios• Continuous tracking of actual cost spend against forecasts, creating insightful reporting to CCO and advising of changes required to achieve goals• Translation of solutions into operational plans, leading both my team and a cross-functional work-stream to drive forward projects on tight deadlines• Delivery of communications for internal distribution including a business updates newsletter and a team Intranet site.• Provide insight following employee opinion surveys and working on implementation of key solutions• Management of colleague agenda. By working with the finance manager, I carried out forecasting and modeling work, whilst also reviewing and challenging costs across the area. Provided support & delivery of the STP & RAF, demonstrating best in class cost management managing the cost base to budget, including supplier challenges. Main accountabilities: -• Prepared monthly management accounts for stock costs, volumes & balance sheet review. Provided performance value added commentaries & drove improvements in integrity and quality of accounts.• Prepared RAF & monthly updates for costs & volumes, created tracking mechanism & analysis for all amendments & cost savings/avoidance.• Built models to adjust for seasonality variances to ensure that costs remained on budget.• Carried out review of card production forecasting models and identified data inefficiencies.
