I teach a graduate level course, Blockchain Fundamentals at George Washington University (Computer Science). "The course provides an introduction to blockchain concepts in both technical and business contexts, and illustrate blockchain concepts with applications to finance, healthcare, supply chain management and other business domains. Students are expected to carry out independent analysis of business, technical and policy issues on the forefront of blockchain theory and applications."

At SynchCare I support the design of new models for scalable patient care, with efficiencies aimed at the needs of senior populations. SynchCare aims to crack the conundrum of adherence through a radical rethinking of models for patient support and behavior change. We need to rethink the language of care, who provides support, and how technology can reduce costs and improve outcomes. SynchCare develops new forms of care coordination that address the complex behavioral challenges of chronic disease management, and the use of appropriate technology to support scalable models for patient support and behavior change.

I served as Program Chair for the Wharton DC Innovation Summit, held April 29-30, 2014 in Washington DC. The conference involved people with complementary interests in processes of innovation — entrepreneurs, investors, policy-makers, academic analysts and other actors in the "innovation food chain." The conference focused on various aspects of innovation, characteristics of innovation ecosystems (with a focus on DC), business models, funding, and a number of sessions on industry-specific examples — cybersecurity, healthcare, urban innovation (energy, transport, water).
