About Neil Israel

I am a master of animation marketing. Animated videos are a powerful tool that can have wonderful results when mixed with the right script. My focus is on the tech section, specifically biotech, because these clients’ stories are literally changing the world. I leverage the power of animation to help get the word out on diverse topics, such as new alternative energy options and programs, inequality in high schools, business growth and development, and (as an example of our growing biotech work) new disease management programs to help teens with Type 1 Diabetes. Through a detailed discovery process, I guide clients to identify visual analogies that simplify their stories. For example, a descending, under-the-water theme was used to illustrate the “deep dive” necessary for background checks. Some people consider animated videos to be a line item on the marketing budget. I challenge you to think differently. When you choose to work with In-Range Animation, you are making an investment in brand development that will pay off exponentially. You will have a valuable asset that reinforces your brand identity. I have the skills necessary to execute entire animation projects from 20+ years in professional project management and marshal my creativity to tell clients' stories in a fun and interesting way. Tech companies spend a considerable amount of time explaining their products — to investors, prospects, and to employees. I start by identifying your aspirational goals for the video, then guiding you through the scripting and storyboarding process. I produce animated stories that will achieve that goal through visual analogies and crisp scripting. This is critical because your audience must believe your product will benefit them before taking action.

Nonprofit LeadershipMy nonprofit experiences (2015-2019) introduced me to several tools that I use today at Sketchology Studios, including: the power of animation and effective storytelling, the art of executive decision-making, the challenge of performing with scarce resources, and the importance of showing an organization’s soft side. Transcend STEM, Board Member - I acted as an advisor to the CEO in areas related to operations management, and messaging.Community Council, Director of Program Management - I launched a new internal website, produced a community-facing results portal, and simultaneously led an IT Help Desk and a Data Analytics Team. For Profit WorkFrom 1998 until 2014, I served as a Project Manager within Sprint (now T-Mobile)’s Customer Service organization. Story is everything - I created and delivered presentations to executives, which required me to contextualize information to be persuasive. Project Management - Becoming a PM changed the way I think about work. Projects require identifying, analyzing, and organizing tasks. PM skills allow me to ensure video projects operations run smoothly. Vendor Management - My knowledge about working with 10+ vendors across the world came from my experiences in Customer Service.Voice of the Customer - I learned how to dig deep into customer satisfaction by mining customer survey data. I am conducting similar surveys now to understand the wants of my animation customers better.Presentation - Client proposals that I do now call upon skills that I learned creating Sprint presentations. Marketing - I learned the importance of developing mutual respect to improve the sales experience for prospects that are leery of transactional relationships.
