In my role, I am responsible for: Selling the various savings accounts that the Building Society has available, and also introducing our customers to Legal and General for longer-term investments. I make outbound calls to existing customers who have accounts due for maturity, to try to promote products available from Chelsea or Legal & General. I have various other responsibilities which include meeting and greeting customers when they come into the branch, taking inbound calls and dealing with various enquiries. I cross sell to customers for home insurance. I have other responsibilities as a senior member of staff to ensure the branch is running smoothly, we are hitting our area target, and providing the best possible service to customers at all times.

In my role, I was responsible for:Working in a large call centre dealing with calls from customers regarding their motor, household and caravan insurance policies. I dealt with customers who were calling to renew their policies and also make mid-term adjustments as well. I had targets for my productivity on the phones and also for the number of customers that upgrade their policies with additional cover such as legal protection and breakdown assistance. I also had targets for the number of cross polices that I sold from motor to house and vice versa. I regularly achieved and exceeded my targets and I was one of the best performers in my team which was recognized by my managers considering my short time with the company. This shows tenacity, determination, and my desire to succeed.

In my role, I was responsible for:Arranging unsecured and secured personal loans for existing and new customers through loan brokers. Selling payment protection insurance with the loans, which is regulated by the FCA. I dealt with calls from customers when they had queries regarding their personal loans, car finance and retail agreements. I dealt with customers who had financial difficulties and had fallen into arrears on their loans. We established the cause of their problems and made arrangements for customers to bring their accounts up to date if possible.I helped train new members of staff and the rest of the team, showing a strong sense of teamwork. Additionally, I completed management relief assignments in my own branch and other branches when a manager was on holiday, illustrating people management skills.I liaised with managers in other branches when I required an approval for a loan application. I dealt with other offices when I processed secured loan applications. This shows proficient communication skills on my part.
