Being an innovative leader, I spent the first part of my career utilising my product design skills as a packaging designer for my consultancy, working with a number of international clients, and successfully launching an award-winning whisky brand from inception to delivery, From there, I joined Billington Cartmel as Creative Director, driving the European and UK team to relaunch Brugal Rum, embedding a positive, open and collaborative culture throughout divisions and utilising my communication skills to deploy client brief initiatives and creative direction.I joined the family eBike business in 2009 as part of a succession plan, driving marketing, commercial and operational strategy plans to take over as CEO in 2011. I am well-versed in overcoming challenges, and I transformed the business through exceptional networking, awareness of up-and-coming products, (re)negotiations with UK, Scottish and international suppliers, and concept delivery to drive turnover to >£1m per annum. Following the covid-19 pandemic and economic downturn, I made the decision to close the business in late 2022, and I am now looking for a new, exciting and challenging opportunity where I can leverage my senior-level leadership experience in start-up and scale-up environments.
