This position also works with the board of directors, administration, medical staff, directors and community leadership to help establish strategic priorities.-Facilitates the annual strategic planning process and other market planning needs.-Coordinates all positioning and image enhancement efforts, including development of an annual marketing plan.-Assists in the development and implementation of business/growth strategies and marketing plans for clinical products and services, payers and the medical staff.-Coordinates research, planning, development and evaluation of new programs and other business development-Directs all marketing and communications activities for both hospitals, all strategic services lines, the community health center, the physician network and other related entities.-Coordinates marketing, planning or business development projects, including feasibility studies, consulting engagements and business and/or physician development initiatives.-Serves on various community, system and medical center committees and working groups as assigned.-Selects, orients, trains, directs and supervises marketing staff; develops job design and standards of performance, evaluates performance and competencies and makes recommendations for personnel action such as merit increases, promotions and disciplinaryaction.-Sets the department's priorities for performance improvement, including mechanisms designed to reprioritize in response to unusual or urgent events.
