Managing recruitment in Standard Life’s Technology & Change and Finance functions. I partner with our Technology & Change and Finance leaders to seek top talent, to secure rewarding careers within Standard Life offices across the United Kingdom. In September 2015 I was promoted to the role of Resourcer within the Standard Life Talent Acquisition team. The main responsibility of my role was managing 'standard terms' roles across all areas of the business (incl. IT & Change, Finance, Risk etc) which gave me an excellent understanding of the business and how each function contributed to the overall success of Standard Life plc (now Standard Life Aberdeen plc). With an eye for cost saving and utilising one of my key skill sets, I directly sourced > 97% of roles while performing this role through multiple channels such as social media and LinkedIn. My other core responsibility as a Resourcer was managing Standard Life 'Careers' social media platforms across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Curating engaging content and to showcase our people and culture was the goal from the outset after launching the platforms which was achieved, particularly through early careers attraction campaigns.
