Current efforts in 2020 include coordinating multiple development agreements, evaluating affordable housing projects, expanding the Sun Prairie Business Park, supporting a Youth Entrepreneurship Center Concept black students and other disadvantaged youth, managing grant and loan programs for the City's COVID-19 response, coordinating the City's communications team, managing a consultant's tourism feasibility planning efforts, and developing next steps for a redevelopment strategy for the Downtown explosion area.

Volunteer position assisting in the coordination of loaned executives (LE), account executives (AE), and employee campaign managers (ECM) in the annual fundraising drive for United Way of Dane County. Worked with suburban Dane County municipalities and school districts to develop and implement their annual employee campaigns. Participated in monthly progress meetings with the full United Way Campaign Cabinet and United Way staff.

Position was responsible for development of comprehensive land use plans, development reviews, grant writing and administration, TIF district creation, strategic planning, development submittals and a variety of other specialty planning projects for both public and private sector clients throughout southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

Position was responsible for assisting with strategic planning, grant writing, grant administration, facilitation services, and research coordination for communities and clients in a six county region of Northwest Illinois. Blackhawk Hills RC&D is a NRCS conservation district as well as an EDA recognized economic development district. Key projects included assisting with the redevelopment of the Savanna Army Depot by securing $1.5 million in federal EDA grant assistance and $1.2 million in State funding, and completing a five-year Overall Economic Development Plan for the region.

Position was responsible for the coordination and assembly of a $60 million annual municipal budget and capital improvement plan document. Also coordinated submittal of the budget document to the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Responsible for other projects as assigned by the Village Manager or Assistant Village Manager.
