Highly experienced, multi-talented creative with a drive to exceed expectations.I started my career in advertising and design after lecturing for one year at the Nelson Mandela Bay University, by opening my own creative agency. Learning first-hand how the industry works and what it means to deliver high quality work, consistently and on time, equipped me well for the next phase of my work life. I wanted to explore as many creative and advertising disciplines as possible and started work for a web development agency where I could fully immerse myself into the digital world. This gave me a wider understanding of the online marketing matrix and the possibilities that existed to leverage more effective results for brands. I then moved to a brand consultancy which specialised in activations and CSI projects. Once again, I added another level of understanding to the many facetted world of marketing and communications. From here I moved to work for an international mountain bike brand where I would come to grips with the pressures and expectations of a brand, as I was now directly involved with the client-side responsibilities of the advertising and design process. Eventually my journey landed me the position of Head of Creative at a strategic advertising agency. I feel that my wide range of experiences with brands from all angles, backed by a work ethic borne from running my own business, has equipped in a rare way to understand the requirements of clients better. I believe in a collaborative process of developing marketing and design solutions, having been exposed to so many aspects of the advertising world. This collaborative nature also makes me feel passionate about sharing my experiences and skills, seeking to make all those around me better. My 29 years plus experience has only increased my passion for offering creative solutions that deliver real results for brands and the people around me.
