I'm a writer and editor, attempting to make sense of the energy industry as we enter the future energy system. I have an unwavering belief in taking complex ideas and making them accessible to everybody. That's why I started The Energy Academy - a series of free, short-bite, educational videos that you can find on Phase by Modo. I spent seven years working in inner-city schools - primary and secondary - as a specialist in helping neurodiverse young people feel comfortable and reach their potential in mainstream settings. Now, I'm a battery energy storage convert. The goal is to save the world by encouraging and enabling the widespread deployment of renewables and energy storage.
