Developed CEMS product specification for single digit NOx and CO monitoring for GE dry-low NOx gas turbine applications. Consulted and presented on discoveries in mercury speciation, hydrogen reforming, NOx control, and toxic air pollutants.Managed multi-million dollar, multi-year government contract programs in advanced fuel reforming for a hydrogen renewables economy. Worked with the Department of Defense (DoD), California Energy Commission (CEC) and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) to pilot H2 fuel cells for transportation and housing markets.Directed the design, testing and evaluation of acoustically enhanced thermal treatment systems for the US Navy. Led a DoD solar reactor program to treat volatile organic compounds.Served as the in-house mechanical engineering chief consultant for designs and structural analysis. Mechanical engineering responsibilities included designing liquid cooled reactors, pressure vessels, prototyping and testing nozzles and burners and building fuel and chemical delivery systems. Led design, construction, installation and testing of bench and pilot-scale reactors and furnaces.
