CurrentExpert communications consultant, specialising in energy and low carbon.Neil Davidson has over 20 years of experience in PR and public affairs having held senior roles in a number of public and private sector organisations. In 2012 he established Neil Davidson Low Carbon Communications and now works with leading energy firms including West of Orkney Windfarm, Gravitricity, Gneiss Energy and Futraheat to help them maximise their media profile and shape policy in Scotland and the UK.Neil trained in print journalism with DC Thomson and Co Ltd prior to freelancing with the BBC, The Scotsman and The Herald among others.Neil holds an honours degree in Land Economy from Aberdeen University and is a member of the Association for Scottish Public Affairs.He lives in Edinburgh with wife Alice Nelson, who is a documentary film maker. They have a teenage daughter, Eilidh, and a growing boy, Peadar, who is twelve. Plus two cats.
