I have more than 20 years of experience serving as a consulting and testifying financial expert in complex business disputes, intellectual property ("IP) litigation, and IP and business valuation matters. My experience includes the evaluation and quantification of economic damages in IP disputes, including patent, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and false advertising and deceptive trade practices under the Lanham Act, as well as commercial disputes such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, stock valuation / shareholder disputes, and diminution of business value claims. I also have experience in IP and business valuation matters; have designed and executed compliance inspection programs and royalty audits; and have consulted with clients on licensing issues across a broad range of industries, including biotechnology, computer hardware and software, construction, consumer products and services, Internet and e-Commerce, electronics, insurance, life sciences, manufacturing, medical devices, and telecommunications, among others. My prior consulting experience includes several years at Deloitte, NERA Economic Consulting, and FTI Consulting. I hold the Certified Valuation Analyst and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics designations from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Certified Licensing Professional designation from the Licensing Executives Society, and the Certified Patent Valuation Analyst from the Business Development Academy.
