Pathways to Wellness is designed to provide a vital link in the spectrum of services available to children, adolescents and adults requiring mental health management. Staffed by Board Certified Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Psychiatric Nurses, Physician Assistants and Licensed Clinicians, our clinics provide services that are intended to afford significant relief from the symptoms of mental illness, to facilitate our patient’s ability to return or remain in the community, and to avoid treatment at higher levels of care.

BHR has steadily grown from a startup company into now over a decade of providing healthcare management, consulting and training services to Medical Groups, Hospitals, Regional Centers, Correctional Facilities, and Community Health Care Organizations.BHR was formed in response to meet an immediate need within the mental health community. We were able to design longstanding services and develop cost-effective outcome oriented healthcare delivery systems as health care costs have rapidly escalated throughout the last two decades. The Pathways to Wellness African American Technical Assistance and Training (AATA) Program has contracted with Alameda County Behavioral Health to provide training and resources to health care providers and the community in order to improve the mental health of African American clients.Our team of qualified physicians and psychologists trainers deliver in-person and virtual trainings to psychiatric providers to enhance the accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment of mental health conditions in the African American community. Learning objectives will include recognizing racial bias and the impact on diagnostic and treatment decisions for African Americans across the age span, identifying the role of culture in symptom presentation, expression, and alternative healing practices, and addressing different medication prescription for African Americans across the age span. We aim to share a variety of learning styles and techniques to assist in expanding your knowledge of these subject matters.

Joined the company in its second year, steadily advanced into more-senior positions, and played a key role in organizational growth to 52 programs in 13 states, serving more than 15,000 patients.Promoted to direct business growth, program management, and quality of care for all partial hospitalization and outpatient clinic programs, in partnership with hospitals and community mental health agencies throughout Arizona, California, Hawaii, Michigan, and Washington.
